Yes Microchipped? Yes Good with other dogs? Does not get along with other animals; would need to be only dog in the house. Good with cats? No, does not get along with animals. Good with children? Kingston has not been around children as we are an adult household so we do not know. Housebroken? Yes Crate Trained? Yes Has your dog lived primarily indoors or outdoors? Indoors Temperament? Sweet and loving with people, but is a true Alpha dog. When he need shots or nails trimmed, we have to sedate him. He has never bitten the vet or techs but will fight not to be poked. Because he does not get along with other animals, I think it is a defense thing, we have to take him straight in and to the room. Behavioral Issues: He knows all basic commands, only behavior issue is that he does not get along with other animals. He even barks at them if they come on TV. Reason for Surrender? Owner was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's in November 2020. Unfortunately,he has progressed to the point where we cannot take care of Kingston.
