Kinsey is one of our long-stay dogs and a staff favorite. This quirky girl arrived with a case of "Happy-tail", a condition resulting from wagging that tail against the kennel walls that causes a reoccurring injury that is almost impossible to heal in the shelter. In spite of our best efforts to bandage and medicate, it was finally decided to amputate much of her tail. She's now an elegant beauty ready for new adventures. Kins enjoys the company of most dogs but she pays far too much attention to cats for comfort. She has two different shades of brown eyes- one is black coffee, the other is bourbon. This girl is as short haired as they come- super low maintenance. She can be a bit leery of new things but once she realizes that she's safe, she blooms into a fun-loving, kissing puppy. Kinsey is ready for adventure and the comfort of a couch!
