Meet Kira! Age: 2 Years Old Sex: Female Location: OKC Kira was pulled from OKC Animal Welfare after she landed on the euthanasia list. Luckily, we had a foster step up and she was saved on time. Kira is a delightful and gentle girl with a heart of gold! She's a bit shy and gets nervous around loud noises and fast movements, but she's incredibly sweet and loves human attention. Since being with her foster family, she's really opened up and blossomed. She charms everyone she meets, but she hasn't had the chance to be around babies or small children. Kira adores holding hands (or paws) and has so much love to offer to the right family. Once she gets to know you and feels comfortable, she's very trusting and makes great eye contact. Kira is currently in a foster home with other dogs, and while she may need some time to get used to them, she could potentially warm up to the idea of having doggy siblings in the right home. She's not a fan of dogs getting in her face and prefers a more relaxed relationship with them until she feels ready to play. She's also not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without them. This sweetheart is completely potty trained and knows commands like sit, stay, shake hands, and lay down. She enjoys snuggling and playing with toys, and she's a pro on a leash, sticking close to her foster's side. Kira is an absolute darling and with the right family, she'll continue to bloom and show even more of her wonderful personality!
