My Story

February 14, 2024 Kirby along with 4 others were dumped near Biscayne Blvd. They were dumped in urine & feces stained crates. Their fur is "burned" (yellow) from constantly living in crates full of urine. A plea went out to help 1 or 2 at a time. Since he reminded me of a previous foster Roscoe I came off intake hold for them. He is adorable. He has come a long way behaviorally in the few weeks I have had them. Kirby is 12-13 lbs . He has been to the vet, has his vaccines, and has been neutered . After speaking to two different vets, the options would be to shave him down or wait for the hair coat to grow in with lighter coloring. Neither vet feels that they need to be shaved. He has been bathed, his coat is clean but fur is just stained. Kirby is fostered in South Florida. Apply at Www.ratbonerescues.com
