Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------ Fostered in Wallaceburg My name is Kita but my foster mom calls me Kit. I am a 27 lbs., female, around 1.5 years old. They say I'm a Black Mouth Cur, but I think I'm just a terrier mix as I am medium size. I'm so lucky that I came to RTRC; they saved my life. I came from a big hoarding case, so, you will need to be patient with me as I haven’t learned much in my life. I would totally love to just cuddle and love someone. Oh, did I mention I have lots of kisses to give while I sit in your lap (sigh). And did I mention that I just adore attention? Not bad for a dog no one wanted right? I love the warmth when I sit with you or I just love to sit right on your lap. Makes me feel loved! Oh yes I might sneak in a few kisses too again. I am just learning how to walk on a leash, but I'm a quick learner and I know that you can teach me really quickly. I am game for cars rides – I ride quietly in the car. Let’s go! When I go to do my business outside, I get a treat when I come in! Oh my! You know, you could get me to do a lot for a treat; I love a good treat. Don’t forget that I am newer at this, so I need to go out often. A treat and some praise every time I do things right would be so great for me! I am pee pad trained if need be. I am very good in the house while you’re away; my foster gives me chew sticks so I don’t chew on anything I shouldn’t. I am crate trained too and don't mind it. I think I am looking for someone who is home most of the time, and who maybe has another dog already. Oh ya, I forgot to mention that big trucks frighten me when they go by the house. If you are looking for a sweet dog that loves life and adores attention, maybe I would be the perfect dog for you, or your dog that needs a friend.
