Hi, my name is Knight. My owners decided they did not want me anymore. Although I am an older guy, I still have energy like a youngster! I love going for walks, playing in the kiddie pool, and playing with toys. I love treats and sit on command for them. I can be a bit insecure at first and it takes me time to trust, so I'm looking for patient humans who will take things slowly with me. I need proper introductions to new people so that I know they are friends. Once I get to know you, I am sweet and incredibly playful. I'm loyal to my favorite humans and get so excited to see them! The best environment for me has adults only in a house with a fenced yard, no apartments/condos. My ideal person is someone with dog experience who can give me structure because that gives me confidence. If you're willing to open your heart, I'd love to meet you!
