Koa

This gorgeous Husky is Koa, a 1.5 - 2 year old neutered male. Koa was hit by a car and brought in to a vet's office as a good Samaritan case. The owner couldn't afford care so she signed him over to the vet clinic who had to amputate his back left leg. Koa is now all healed up and ready for his forever home! Koa has adapted beautifully to being 3-legged and does WONDERFUL! He doesn't allow it to get him down. He doesn't seem to be an escape artist and is not the normal, talkative husky. He is very quiet and VERY sweet. He loves treats and is easily trainable with them. At the vet office where he is being fostered, Koa plays happily with other dogs and is even a gentleman with cats he has met. He loves being brushed and is all around a sweet guy....he's pretty perfect. Koa weighs around 57 lbs and it will be important for him to remain a lean weight due to his amputation.
