KOBE- Needs a foster/forever home!

Kobe is a very handsome and loving 1 & 1/2 year old Boxer mix who recently joined our rescue. His family moved and abandoned him to fend for himself. Unfortunately, poor Kobe is heartworm positive. He currently going through heartworm treatment. Kobe will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. May be good with other dogs with a very slow introduction. Unknown how he is with cats. Children 12 years old and older. His forever home must have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play and hang out with his people. Kobe is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations as well as house and crate trained. Kobe cannot wait to start the next chapter of his life where is loved and spoiled for the rest of his life!! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Kobe's adoption fee is $300. KOBE WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE HE IS GOING THROUGH HEARTWORM TREATMENT AND WAITING TO BE ADOPTED.
