Meet Koda, a beautiful 14week-old puppy with a gorgeous hazelnut-colored coat. This sweet and easy-going boy came from a large litter. His mom, a medium mix of Pitty and Shepherd, was only about 40 pounds, so we suspect Koda will be around 40 to 50 pounds when fully grown.
Koda's journey started at the shelter after his family could no longer keep his mom and her babies. With the shelter full, they were placed on the urgent euthanasia list. Thankfully, Koda was rescued in time and is now thriving in his foster home.
He currently lives with two large dogs, whom he absolutely adores. He loves to play and cuddle with them and is also fantastic with kids. Koda needs a family who understands the demands of raising a puppy and is willing to commit to the full-time job of training and nurturing him.
All puppies benefit from having another dog to follow, but it's not a requirement for Koda's new home. He needs a home with a backyard and plenty of time for playtime and structure. Help us find Koda the perfect forever home where he can grow into the best possible dog.
