Koda is a sweet DEAF dachshund female, she is 1yr old and weighs around 18lbs.
Koda loves to sleep with her people. She does OK in a crate if she has a companion however, if you create her alone, she will hurt herself. She is very jealous and will growl or snap at other dogs while she is near her person.
She is needy, clingy and does have some separation anxiety but most of that is due to her disability.
Koda is not a fan of men in general, she doesn’t care for strangers so if your home is busy or you have guest stopping by often, she probably isn’t the dog for you.
She is spayed, vaccinated, heart worm negative and has a 6 month proheart injection for prevention.
She is 100% deaf so this is a special needs dog and we are going to be very picky about where she goes.
Koda has been around large dogs but we prefer to place her with dogs her size.
We do require a securely fenced yard (NO underground fences allowed)
We also require a home visit for all of our available dogs.
