My Story

Meet Kodak: Your New Best Friend! Kodak is a loving and enthusiastic dog looking for a forever home that can keep up with his playful spirit. If you have a passion for outdoor activities and are looking for a loyal companion, Kodak might be the perfect fit for you! Age: 2 years Breed: Male Labrador Mix Color: Grey w/ light brindle markings Temperament: Playful, Friendly, High-Energy Training: Crate Trained, Knows Basic Obedience, Walks Well on Leash PERSONALITY AND BEHAVIOR Kodak is a young and energetic Labrador mix who loves to play and needs an active home to match his energy levels. He's great with other dogs, especially those who enjoy rough play, and he never meets a stranger—Kodak loves everyone he encounters, both people and dogs alike. HOME REQUIREMENTS - Active Lifestyle: Kodak thrives in a home where he can get plenty of exercise. Whether it's running, playing fetch, or long walks, he’s ready to join in on the fun. - Fenced Yard: He needs a secure yard where he can safely run and play to his heart's content. - No Young Kids: Due to his high energy and tendency to jump when excited, it's best if Kodak goes to a home without very young children. He might jump on new people out of excitement, but he doesn’t do this with those he's familiar with. TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR - Crate Trained: Kodak is comfortable in his crate. He might have an occasional accident if he isn’t let out in time in the morning, but this is not a frequent issue. - Basic Obedience: He knows basic commands and heels well on a leash, although it might be helpful to refresh his training occasionally. - Jumping: Kodak may jump on new people when he’s excited, especially right after being let out of his crate. With consistent training and reinforcement, this behavior can be managed. - Unknown with Cats: He has not been tested with cats, but he shows no interest in horses.
