KODI is a 9 year-old, pure bred, neutered female Yellow Lab. She is healthy and is current with all her shots. KODI is a people dog that would love more human interaction than her present and only owners can now provide. She was raised in a family environment with children and enjoys attention. She was crated as a puppy and still treats her crate as her bed. She went to puppy training and will sit, stay, rollover, and chase a ball or stick. Come is still an inconsistent command if food is not involved. KODI is food motivated. She is not overweight, but seemingly "lives to eat". Food cannot be left around or she will help herself. KODI gets defensive if she thinks food will be taken from her. She is interested in and is social with other dogs but does not engage in vigorous play. She was raised indoors for the most part, but loves to be outside. She is very well housetrained. Overall, she wants to be wherever people are spending time. KODI'S owner would like her to be in a loving environment with frequent people attention and interaction. Animal Alliance is sad that KODI a wonderful adult dog must find a new home. We hope that she soon finds a true "forever" home with a loving family.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
