Kodi is a big dog weighing over 100 pounds- and it's not fat! Unfortunately his owner had a stroke and is no longer able to care for him, nor could anyone in her family take him in. However the family is heartbroken and brought him into the shelter with nothing but glowing praise, eager to tell the staff what a great dog Kodi is. He is a 5-year old who is used to cats and children, can be left alone indoors for long periods of time without any problem, has had some obedience training. Kodi loves to play in hose spray and loves to play fetch. The only negative things reported are that Kodi sometimes digs and he is afraid of outdoor power equipment. On his first day at the shelter Kodi has been a calm gentleman. He is very handsome, too!
