Kona

Kona just came to us after being held for several months as part of a court case. She might need a little extra patience while she settles back in to living in a home with a family! She is VERY silly and friendly, and would make a great family dog! Kona is pretty bossy with other dogs, so she would need to be the only female dog in the home. She could probably live with a male dog just fine, and she'd be ok with dog-savvy cats. She is very energetic and goofy! As a Golden Retriever / Poodle mixed breed, potential adopters should be prepared for a dog that sheds AND requires regular groomings every 4-8 weeks. There is no such thing as a non-shedding dog, but certainly some breeds shed less than others. Since she is part Golden Retriever, she will probably leave a fair amount of 'dog glitter' around your house!
