Kona

Kona is a stunning boy, just under 2-years old. Kona has his whole life ahead of him with his forever family, if he could just get out of this shelter! This boy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but is a total lover once he warms up. He greets you with a big tail wag and goofy smile. Kona knows sit, walks well on leash, and is very treat motivated to learn more. If you are interested in Kona, come meet this smiley boy at KCPP Main Campus! From his Dog Day Out (human) friends: Kona is an absolute dream dog! He never jumped on people, rode well in the car, was great on his leash and never pulled. He knew his name and sat on cue. We had a great day with him. We played a lot of catch with a ball and went for a long walk, with snacks in between. He was great with our teenagers and would be an excellent family pet. He was very gentle taking food from our hand. We had a great day with Kona and I hope he gets adopted soon. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
