Meet Koshy: Your Sweet and Loving New Companion! Say hello to Koshy, a delightful 5-year-old Boxer-Rottweiler mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match. Koshy is the epitome of sweetness—she’s friendly, loving, and has a calm demeanor that will instantly warm your heart. Koshy came to the ASPCA Cruelty Recovery Center from a shelter in New Mexico and was found to be positive for heartworm disease. She is currently is undergoing treatment, but she’s a trooper through it all and shows incredible resilience. She will need to be on rest and medications through the end of August to complete her heartworm treatment. Treatment for heartworm disease is curative, and once it is complete, she will go on to live a long and happy life. She is quiet, gentle, and walks well on a leash. She’s a truly loving dog who thrives on affection and is eager to give back the love she receives.
