My Story

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Krayola is a spayed female, weights 42 lbs, and is a 1 YR old, Lab/Staffordshire mix who is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported to an approved adopter. MEET KRAYOLA Krayola will bring color into your life! She's an affectionate girl with lots of playful energy who is looking for her next big adventure. She loves the outdoors and she's active so a home that can provide the excitement she's craving would be best. She loves new people and doesn't know a stranger. In the home, Krayola is a loyal, fun girl. She loves to play with plushies and chew on bones. She's crated when her foster family is not home and at night and does well. She's young so she's had a few accidents in the short time she's been in the foster home but she's working on it! She loves to cuddle her foster family after a good game of chase in the yard. She's also learning tricks like sitting and waiting for her meals. Krayola is very dog friendly and is always looking to play. She would love a doggy sibling to play with. She's always trying to entice the dogs in the home but they are disinterested. The other dogs in the home are 10 and 40 lbs and she's friendly with both and can pick up when they don't want to play. Krayola wants a friend! She has shown no aggression with other dogs. She is fed separately as a rule, but hasn't shown aggression around toys, bones, or treats. On leash, she loves seeing other dogs and people but doesn't bark as they pass. She can pull a bit when she smells something good but also can walk calmly on walks. Krayola has not been around cats or children. We think a home with older children would be best as she's very rambunctious and thinks everyone plays with her same enthusiasm. So, she may knock over younger kids when she's excited. An ideal home for Krayola would be an active one where her family is excited to engage with her, continue her training and play. She'd love a doggy sibling or two. Krayola is the new adventure pup you've been waiting for! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her?
