My Story

All Kya is thinking is please, please pet me! This sweetie is estimated to be about 8 months old and weighs 30 pounds. Kya is a beautiful puppy with a playful spirit and a loving nature. She is very cuddly, affectionate and loves to snuggle up with you, especially in your lap. She can be a little shy when meeting new people though, it just takes her a little time to trust. Kya is also a bit hand shy, so it would be wonderful if her new family could help with building her confidence and provide leadership. She would love an active, fun family and enjoy accompanying you on walks and joining you on adventures. She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old with her shy nature. Kya is a wonderful girl who would be a perfect fit for a loving family. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Kya would love to meet them. She has an “all in” submissive, soft approach with other dogs. Another dog in the home may help with her confidence building. If you are interested in Kya and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
