Although some use the term "white" to describe Kya's coloring, it is actually just a much paler version of a yellow lab. Regardless of color, Kya is a beautiful, sweet gal. We would love to find a local foster for her as she is heartworm positive and will be undergoing the treatment in about 2 weeks. Keeping her quiet won't be hard as she is happy to lay inside and chew a good bone the majority of the time. She will need to go on leash walks only when she goes out to potty and cannot exercise for a month or better. Once the treatment is complete, we will step back up to normal activity which in her world equates to a fetching frenzy!! Remember fosters do have first refusal on adopting their fosters!! She is very much a typical lab. Her utopia would be a home next to water with an endless supply of tennis balls.
