I was a little scared when I came to SOCKS but now that I’ve had time to adjust, I just love having my freedom and I’m a happy girl. I just want to get in your lap and wrap my arms around your neck and I really love watching TV snuggled close to my foster. I play with my foster fur sisters, get along well with the cats, and I’ve discovered toys. I’m crate-trained and can be left out at night with no issues. Best of all, I love sleeping in the big bed all cuddled next to my foster mom. My foster mom is still working on house training, but I will use a pee pad. So that’s pretty good, isn’t it? My favorite game is to play fetch and I’ll bring it back but sometimes I want to keep it. I love to take walks and walk well on a leash, and I really love car rides, especially if we’re going for a pup cup. I am young so I do have lots of energy especially since my hair was cut and I can see where I’m going. Speaking of that, when I came to SOCKS, I had a lot of matts so my beautiful curls had to be shaved off. My foster mom says they will grow back but I will need to be groomed regularly. I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, and on monthly preventative. Sounds like I’m just the perfect girl, don’t you think?" Kylie's adoption fee is $400. SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing. Please be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match.
