Lady

Hi there! My name is Lady, and I’m a 2 1/2-year-old female Boxer mix with a beautiful blondish-brown coat. I’m spayed, up to date on all my shots, and weigh a healthy 56 pounds. I recently completed treatment for heartworms and my vet says my heart is in great shape. I just needed to get rid of those pesky little creatures. I’m crate trained and a very good girl if I do say so myself! I haven’t been tested with cats yet, but that can be arranged if you’d like. I’m fantastic with children and love to play and run around. Fetching balls and rope toys are some of my favorite activities. I have a lot of energy, but once I get my zoomies out, I can calm down and enjoy some quiet time. I might bark at other dogs, but it’s only because I want to play with them. I’m not aggressive at all. I know how to sit and learn new things quickly because I’m super smart. I respond well to corrections and always aim to please. I came from Memphis Animal Services, where I was a last-minute save and a staff favorite. They even called me a play group rockstar! I’m a big sweetheart who loves to sunbathe, roll in the grass, and snort when I get excited—it’s cute, if I do say so myself. I enjoy going for walks and car rides, especially when I can feel the wind on my face. Milk bone dog biscuits, Beggin’ Strips, pig ears, and shin bones filled with peanut butter are some of my favorite treats. I’m just a big love bug full of energy, and all I want in return is lots of petting and love. I adore people and soak up all the attention and praise you can give me. Currently, I’m with my foster family in Burkesville, KY, but I can be transported to other states for the right home. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion, I’m your girl!
