Hound lovers- meet Lady! Lady is a 4 year old little beagle girl looking for an experienced home. In hound style, Lady has the tendency to be vocal and expressive, especially when she feels nervous. She's easily spooked by other dogs, too many new people or people encroaching on her space when she wants to be left alone. But once Lady does feel more comfortable with people when given time, she will open up and share her inner sweetness that she has shown staff/volunteers. Lady loves being outside for long walks, sniffing her surroundings (like a typical hound), and stopping for roll arounds on the grass. She also likes settling down on a nice comfy bed afterwards to nap. Lady is looking for a low traffic, adult only home, with no other pets, and one that will understand Lady's need for patience and respect of her boundaries.
