Lady

This sweet pitty girl is the most loving soul you will ever meet. Although her life hasn't been an easy one, she does not let that stop her from opening her heart to everyone. Lady's start was sad and painful. She had both her front legs broken before she was even a few months old and never treated and, more recently, her back leg was also fractured. The vet that repaired her back leg was able to get her owner to surrender her and asked Freckles to help get her to safety. Lady has flourished as part of the Freckles pack and is more than ready to find her fur-ever home with someone who can shower her with all the love, care, and attention she needs. Lady is a supreme cuddler, loves other dogs, and even does well with cats. Lady is spayed, vaccinated, potty, and crate trained. Due to her previously sustained injuries she takes medicine for pain and inflammation and will require ongoing care for the duration of her life. A detailed medical history is available upon request. This dogs adoption fee is $500. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old.
