Lady Lu
Breed
Labrador Retriever, Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler
Meet adorable Lady Lu! This happy, wiggly girl is all smiles and kisses. Rescued from death row at a high kill shelter this 1-2 year old Red Heeler/Lab mix is the perfect family pet. Lady loves people of all ages and plays well with other dogs. She is a champion snuggler! Lady loves to snuggle up with her people or get cozy on her nice soft bed or the couch if permitted. She is house trained, knows sit, and is very smart. She loves playing fetch and doing zoomies around the yard by herself or with her foster siblings. She has normal energy for her age and breed and then settles easily. She would do well in a home, with or without other dogs, where she would get plenty of love and attention. Lady is great around kids of any age but sometimes her happy wagging tail hits right at eye level with some of the smaller ones so kids over 5 is recommended. Lady is an excellent car rider and is happy just being your co-pilot while you run some errands. She enjoys walks and does well on leash with minimal pulling. Lady will make a great addition to any family with her easy-going temperament and sweet demeanor.
While in our care, Lady has been completely vetted including all vaccines, fecal, spayed, current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick medications and microchipped.
