Lady May has been diagnosed with Megaesophagus, also known as esophageal dilatation, is a disorder of the esophagus in humans and other mammals, whereby the esophagus becomes abnormally enlarged. Megaesophagus may be caused by any disease which causes the muscles of the esophagus to fail to properly propel food and liquid from the mouth into the stomach.
But don't let that deter you from considering adding this special girl to your family. She is getting a custom built chair for her to sit in while she eats so she can sit in the proper position at meal time. LadyMay requires a home where she can have controlled supervision during and at least 30 minutes after meal time and hydration.
