She is resilient, like the town in Hawaii for which she was named. Left behind when her family moved away, Lahaina is making a great comeback. Her playful personality started to emerge soon after she arrived to her foster home. When out in public, she makes friends with everyone she meets. Lahaina is a polite girl, learning how to play again. She is friendly with dogs of all sizes, and she encourages all her furry foster siblings to play with her. She would love a dog to romp with in her forever home. She is crate trained, and eats meals in her crate. Once finished, she will patiently wait to be released, even if the door is not latched! She will sometimes jump up on people, so she may not be the right dog for a family with young children. Lahaina likes to find an out-of-the-way place to take a snooze when things quiet down. Sometimes she slumbers in a cool bathtub! This is a meet-to-appreciate girl that would love to be the center of your attention. Plan on extra visiting time if you plan to meet her, because you will want to adopt her and take her home! SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere.
