She's a joy to be around and is the sweetest velcro dog. Lala Takes a bit to warm up to you, but loves her person and is super goofy. She will jump up for cuddles (working on that) and paw you for pats/belly rubs. Lala is the best companion and will follow you around. Very intuitive like a Poodle and understands a lot. I ask her "do you want food?" and she gets very excited. She is very food motivated She knows "Sit", "Come Here" and working on "Stay". She can counter surf so I do not leave food on the counters or her treats. She walks well on a leash, but does get scared of loud noises and will freeze on walks. She will excel in a quiet home without many loud noises and quick movements. She does have a high startle response due to her past. She is very scared of thunder. Due to all the above, she will need a home that is patient and does not have children or frequent grandchildren. She can struggle with some separation anxiety, but it's not extreme. A couple who works from home or retired family who is home most of the time would be best for her. Someone who is moderately active and can make Lala the center of attention would be best. She may do well with another dog who is not anxious or aggressive as she struggles with anxiety. Fully housebroken and never had an accident. She has sensitive skin so you will need to regularly care for her coat with the right shampoo and food. She requires regular brushing multiple times a week and does shed some. She requires professional grooming every 4-6 weeks which can range from $150-$200 depending the groomer and length of coat you keep her in. She will make an awesome companion for a patient family.
