Lasso

Get tied up with Lasso! You may remember Lasso from our cowboy western litter - he was adopted, but then returned back to PBSF through no fault of his own. But that's ok, he's a happy dude and ready to find his forever forever home now! He's now about 6 months old and most likely a mix of Australian Shepherd and pitbull, and if you know anything about those breeds, you know that means he's quite an active and energetic dog! So Lasso is looking for an active home, ideally one with a big fenced-in yard and maybe some other dogs, and we think he has potential to be a great running companion since he has so much energy to burn. Lasso loves toys of all kinds, especially rope toys he can tug, and he seems to have picked up on the concept of fetch! He enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings, and he also loves snuggling with his humans. Lasso can be a little timid when he first meets new people, but he opens up quickly, then he'll be playing and snuggling in no time! As a young adolescent puppy, he can be mischievous, and he's still learning what's ok to chew on vs. not ok to chew on, so he'll need plenty of appropriate outlets for chewing and continued monitoring and guidance. He is potty trained and crate trained. He has spent some time in a foster home with a cat, and he seemed to learn that the cat is not a toy or another dog, so he mostly just observed the cat and occasionally follows him around.
