Laufer does seem interested in cats but has not been fully cat tested so we would only recommend him with dog-savvy cats and proper introductions. Laufer has not lived with children but has been friendly with any children he's met. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Laufer is Looking For: Hey there, future family! What My Foster Says About Me: Laufer is an affectionate, happy, silly boy who still thinks he's a tiny puppy. So far he hasn't had any accidents and will even wake us up to let us know he has to go potty outside! He is super sweet and loyal, he wants a family to adore!! Laufer will lie under your desk while you work just to be near you. He loves meeting new people and dogs on walks. He's been great on leash too for a puppy! He's very curious about his surroundings and loves to go on adventures. He does this cute thing when he's comfortable with someone, even people, he just met--he melts. He will lie down right there next to them and even roll over for a belly rub. Laufer is such a joy to have around! He's smart, goofy and cuddly! He's doing really well with house training and learning commands. We cannot guarantee any dog is fully potty trained as new environments may cause regression or take time to adjust to. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
