Layne's story began on the streets of Fort Worth, where she was found without a collar. Her original owner had purchased her out of the trunk of a car but later decided they no longer wanted her and let her run free. A kind woman helped locate her owner, only to discover they didn't want her back. Fortunately, Layne’s rescuer is a dedicated advocate for dogs in need and had an open spot for fostering. Layne is a sweet, playful pup who quickly warms up to everyone she meets. She’s great with kids and enjoys their company. She’s also curious about cats and enjoys playing with her fearless cat foster sister. However, she might need some training around cats that are more skittish. Layne is house-trained and looks forward to her daily walks. She absolutely loves swimming at the dog park and is always ready for an adventure. Her friendly nature means she has never met a stranger. Layne also has a special love for playing with toys and can keep herself entertained for hours. Layne is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and share her loving nature. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip.
