If ever a dog deserves a Happy Ending. It would be Laynie.
The day in 2020, when Laynie was rescued by the Tunica Humane Society, her stomach was so swollen, you would have thought she was having puppies any minute. In fact, a guy had bought her from her owner because he thought she was having puppies.
Finds out, she was ravished by advanced heartworm disease because she was neglected for many years. That belly was full of fluid that would have killed her in a few more days if we hadn't found her when we did.
You would never know it today. Laynie has gone through heartworm treatment and she feels Born Again. She smiles all the time at our shelter! She loves toys like a puppy!
Please consider being her savior. Her guiding light. Her hope for the future. She's a sweet and loving dog. She just needs someone to give her a chance to show how special she is.
