Hiya!! My name is Leah. In Hebrew, my name means relaxed. Boy is that ever wrong ;) So what we are assuming that is my sister and I, were dumped in small rural town off of a very busy highway. With us being puppies, of course we do not know to stay away from the road. There's no telling how long ago we had been dumped, if at all. For all we know, our mom was abandoned and ended up having us by herself. Anyway, we were found all alone and hungry. Some nice person contacted Lucies. There wasn't any room for us there, so one of the sweetest volunteers offered to foster us until room could be made for us. When we got to the volunteers house, it was noticed that both of our bellies were swollen and distended. Their first thought was that we were both pregnant. From one horror to next, we were actually filled with worms!!! We were so glad she knew just what to do. She gave us meds and got those nasty things out of us. Hallelujah!!! Now we are all better and running around and playing at the park with the other dogs. Such a better life than when we started! Now, it's time for us to have families and homes of our own.
