Hi! My name is Leah. The beginning of my story is a bit sad, but don't worry, it gets better. I was abandoned on a beach in Aruba along with another dog (Chloe). But lucky for me some kind tourists fed us and the rescues on the island sent us to a nice foster home in the US. YEAH! Now I just need my forever home!
I am a calm, sweet girl, only 42 lbs., about two years old, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. I am heart worm free too. I would do best with older children.
My heart is filled with love for my family. I love to play with other dogs but cats are not my favorite. I will sit and wait for you to get ready to take me on walks- I am really good at walking on a leash! I am crate trained and house trained too! My coat is short and I do not shed much. I am being fostered in Michigan but we can arrange transportation as well. My adoption fee is only $200!
