Lego

Meet Lego! Lego, a 3-year-old St. Bernard mix, came to us from a shelter in the south. He is a very special case. He is very scared, very timid, and is a sweet boy that doesnt really seem to know how to accept love from humans. He has not been aggressive at all, just more like shutdown and extremely scared. He just wants to stay in his kennel all the time, we think because thats what hes used to. Lego will let us put a harness on him, and he will walk on a leash (kind of). He doesnt like to go outside for any length of time and does not like to go on walks. Sometimes we can talk him into a short walk, but hes a large dog and honestly if he doesnt want to move, its hard to move him! Lego does like treats, and hes really clean in his kennel. He prefers to potty outside rather than inside. We have spent many hours just giving him love and affection and asking nothing else from him. Although he is starting to understand, its heart-breaking to see him so scared and timid because he hasnt gotten much love in his past. Lego will need an adopter that is going to be with him most of the time, and is ready to have a lot of patience and give him a ton of love. He is such a sweet boy, and he deserves to live the rest of his life in a home where he only knows love and affection. He might do well in a home with a furry sibling that can teach him how to dog. Lego is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworms.
