Meet Leia! This sweet young girl is mom to Wicket, Nippet, Mookie, and Kneessaa. Now that her pups are old enough to find homes of their own, she has healed up, has been spayed, and received her needed vet care, Leia is ready to finder her happily ever after! Leia is an approximately 2-year-old Shiba Inu/Chihuahua mix who weighs in at about 14 pounds. Leia was a wonderful mom to her four pups and is now ready to enjoy her life with a new family all her own. She is housetrained and uses a doggy door in her foster home. She does well with other dogs, and we believe, with her laid-back attitude, that she would be good in a home with cats. But, since we don’t know that for sure, care should be taken when introducing her to new kitty friends. Leia loves people and really wants to be with her people. She can have a bit of anxiety when left alone, so someone who is around most of the time would be best for her. She may be good in a home with kids, but she has not spent a lot of time around them yet. Leia is working on her leash manners and her basic commands. She is a smart girl and should pick those up quickly with love and patience. She is eager to please and quite the intelligent girl!
