**Please read Leia Kelly's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application. Thank you!** Meet Leia Kelly - a gorgeous Hound/Shepherd mix who is now 6 years old and 65 pounds. This sweet thing was born 4/4/18 and originally came north as part of a 3 pup litter. We left up one of her puppy pictures so you could see. She has been living with a northern family who unfortunately needs to surrender her due to their life schedule and no time to give Leia what she needs. This girl is pure love and sweetness!! She loves every human she meets and is great with kids. She has lived with kids 11+ but great around kids as little as 5 with friends and family. She also love dogs - she would be so happy to have a doggie companion to play with in her new home. And she would be a great companion dog for anyone who hikes or walks or runs - she pulls a little on leash but we believe it is due to lack of consistent training. She is eager to please and we know her leash skills will fall right in line (all she does is pull a little but she learns commands easily). She is smart as a whip and knows sit, down, leave it, touch, paw, and ok (as her command that she can eat). She is housebroken and crate trained too. She can get anxious sometimes but has meds for that when needed. We actually think it might be one of her preventions causing this.
