LEILANI is a sweet, quiet, loving Yorkie X Maltese. She is peaceful with other dogs, and is fiercely attached to her people. She will be happy living with or without other pets; what matters is to be on her person's lap or feet as much as possible. LEILANI was found stray and at some point her coat was given an inexplicable bad styling, so she looks a bit wispy. Her fur is very soft, silky, fine, and slightly wavy -- it will grow in beautifully. She will require professional grooming several times per year once her hypoallergenic coat has recovered, as well as daily combing to ensure that her coat stays lovely between trips to the stylist. LEILANI sleeps next to her foster mother's pillow. She is house trained and will potty outside or, if necessary, on a puppy pad. She is small and thus vulnerable to predation (and cute and thus vulnerable to theft), so she should not be outside without a protector. She is an ideal companion for someone who wants a close, full-time relationship with an adorable, gentle, sweet tiny dog.
