My Story

Lelo and his siblings were born to a Great Pyrenees mama who found her way under an old house giving birth on hard rocks and dirt in the heat of May. She did her best but was very weak and scared and despite her best efforts left her babies at 17 days never to return. The finders bottle fed the babies and tried their best, saving all seven but reached out for help from TGPR when things got harder. Lelo is named by South African friends who are helping care for the babies while they find their forever homes. Lelo is very active and alert, playful and curious. He already loves wrestling with his sisters in his foster home and is the biggest of the litter so far. He may not look like a Great Pyrenees but he surely has the character of the breed, smart, patient, observant, good natured. He had a rough start in life yet is a happy, well adjusted, easy-going puppy sure to grow into an even more handsome boy! Will update photos often!
