Lemon Meringue AKA Lemon AKA Lemmie is a young 2 year old SURVIVOR. She has been with animal control in a rural area of Florida for 6 months, as she was "evidence" in a case against her owner, an abuser. Lemmie was skin and bones, terribly neglected an mistreated. The chief of police reached out to Greyhounds in Motion, desperate to find a solution for Lemmie so she wasn't euthanized.
We picked up Lemmie and she never looked back at her old life. She is playful, curious, and full of fun. She will make a wonderful companion for a family who can give her lots of attention, love & adventure.
Lemmie gets along with other dogs of all sizes, and we suspect with cats as well. She is very gentle and cuddly. Lemmie is fostered in Winter Park, Florida and would love to meet you!!!
