Meet Handsome Lenny!
This charming 5-year-old Catahoula Mix was found abandoned on the side of a county road. Despite his challenging beginnings, Lenny’s intelligence radiates brightly, earning him the title of a real smarty-pants!
To ensure his safety, Lenny will require a secure yard with an approved fence to prevent any wandering adventures. He loves long walks with staff members and romping around our fenced yards. Lenny craves adventure and is seeking an active owner who can keep up with his energetic spirit.
While Lenny has shown promise with other dogs during walks, he’s not suited for households with cats or livestock. His previous encounters with chickens and goats revealed that he’s better off in a different environment. Despite his imposing size, Lenny has a heart of gold. However, his tendency to sometimes resource guard his food and his strength makes him best suited for a home with older children who understand his well-intentioned nature.
Our adoption package covers Lenny’s neutering, microchipping, and age-appropriate vaccinations. Plus, we'll provide a small bag of Hills food to kickstart his journey with you. If you’re ready for a loyal companion to join you on all of life’s adventures, Lenny could be the perfect match!
