Leroy is a sweet beagle boy who is about 6 yr old, but already in heart failure due to prolonged heartworm disease and takes daily medication to help his heart (the cost of his meds are about $200 every 90 days).
Despite with condition, Leroy is a happy, loving, playful beagle boy who does best with a young beagle playmate. Without a playmate, Leroy seeks a lot of attention from his humans which can seem overwhelming at times.
Leroy is great with kids but can knock over little ones especially if food is involved. He currently lives with a toddler who he loves to pal around with.
Leroy is a food monster, but not food aggressive, he will just be happy to bulldoze through any one for a piece of lettuce or carrot.
Leroy is house trained with a doggy door, he does well on a leash with a harness and rides well in a car. Leroy is crate trained at night as he sometimes has accidents when left out at night.
