Leva

This is Leva. She used to be named Levi, and then it was discovered that she is a girl. This gives you an idea of how shy Leva was when she arrived at the shelter with her sister. Her sister was also dominating her, so she hadn’t yet figured out how to be herself. Leva is still very shy, but with the help of some staff and volunteers, she is coming around nicely. Leva plays beautifully with other dogs, and another secure dog in her new home may help her come out of her shell completely. Leva is very interactive once she is comfortable, and will also invite belly rubs and even lean in for hugs from humans. She’s a wonderful dog who is super-engaged and smart as a whip. She’d love to go home as soon as possible, so she can find her place in the world and mature into the best dog ever. We know she has that potential.
