Meet LEVI LEVI www.youluckydogrescue.org - Adoption Application can be found at this website. Meet our newest addition, Levi! Levi is a sweet, mild mannered puppy who loves kids and other dogs. He has proven to adapt his energy to the dogs he is around and stays fairly quiet. He is very food motivated but so far shows little to no resource guarding. We are working on training and he has done exceptionally well with crate training and we are 95% there with housetraining. Routines are his jam. Levi arrived at the shelter in obvious pain and he has a broken tail in two places that will always leave his tail with a hook look. We think this slows down his ability to wag his tail but his excitement and happiness is still palpable. Levi is likely to be a bigger boy and we think he is Great Dane mixed with other breeds. We don't make any claims to the actual breed mix since we do not do DNA tests, but we can tell you that he is an all around great puppy who will go into an awesome adult dog with the right guidance. PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time. Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
