Petrified to Playful! Levi started as a feral pup living outside in Mississippi and was untouchable. He was scared of humans, couldn’t make eye contact, he lived frozen in fear. He traveled to Michigan with his siblings to find a perfect home for his unique needs. After 2 months in a foster home, he has blossomed into the playful, laid back, happy-go-lucky, chill as a cucumber, cuddly boy he was always meant to be! Once he learns he can trust you, he welcomes pets, hugs, gives all the kisses, and even leans into your chest for some extra loving. He is fantastic with other dogs (lives w 5 furry sibs) and heeds correction well. He’s a peacemaker and often jumps in the middle of 2 dogs playing to bring down the energy level to a chiller state! He’s a lover! This 3.5mo, little Shepherd boy has all the makings to be the best addition to your pack this Summer! He loves to play, is a professional sun bather on the patio, would be a perfect walking PIC, and happiest when he’s in eyesight of his people. He has the cutest ‘big man on campus’ strut when he walks! He is a joy to watch and is sure keep you smiling and laughing. He is very food motivated and equally driven to please his people. He is quick to learn what you are asking and so proud when he does it and gets a cookie + a smile from you! Levi is crate trained, working on potty training (75% of the way there!), knows the ‘sit’ cue, and does great in the car. Looking for a loving home with a fence and dog companion.
