Meet Levi! Breed Guess: Levi is a Cococut Retreiver! This is the name given to our St. Thomas Island dogs since they are a such a variety of breeds that they became a breed of their own. We really don't want to make guesses and mislead anyone, we would rather have you meet him and decide for yourself. Age: Pure Puppy! He is estimated to be 10 weeks old currently Weight: 11 lbs but that will change by the day...we think he may be a bigger boy when full grown but we cannot guarantee anything...these coconuts surprise us all the time. Other Animals: Levi came here with his 3 siblings and is currently being fostered with 3 larger adult dogs. He has met many dogs and is a perfect puppy around them...he is all wiggles, happiness and licks and listens to corrections from his elders. He is the most submissive in his litter. We feel he will be a very balanced and social guy if his new family keeps exposing him to positive role models :) Kids: All puppies start off loving all people but remember they go through a teething stage so you will have to ride through the mouthy era and monitor any small children they may be around closley with that. He is a blank slate and loves everyone he meets. House training: He is a puppy, he currently knows nothing but is ready to learn. Exercise needs: All puppies need lots of play, structure and exposure to patient dogs. He is already walking great in a harness and leash and as we always say, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppies are NOT a good fit for someone who wants a low activity level dog. What he's great at: Being incredibly adorable, perfect leash walking manners, and being out and about exploring the world What he's working on: Learning to be alone and potty training Personality: Levi is a goofy, happy, lovable boy who thrives on human attention and a structured environment. He LOVES to cuddle and to be close to you and really loves being with other dogs. He is up for anything! Bring on the adventures! Bring on the play! Levi's Story: He was dropped off at the shelter in St. Thomas with his 3 sisters when some of our volunteers were there to rescue dogs. He has some marks on his head and legs from something that happened before he got there but they are healing quickly. Dream Home: Levi is ready for anyone who can show him a fun filled life filled with adventure, love, and training. He definitely has energy and will be a larger dog so a fenced yard or active humans would be ideal. We would love to find people who understand that raising a puppy is a commitment but the rewards are great. e is ready to meet you so please put an application in and let's set up a play date!
