Liberty (aka Libby) is an approximately 5 year old 35 pound spayed female mixed breed dog with lots of energy. She was found wandering in a Toronto park area going through the garbage bins. She was extremely thin and her nails were so long they were almost curling over! Found by one of our volunteers, Libby was posted on the LOST DOGS but no one ever called or came looking for this wonderful girl!
Libby LOVES to play fetch and is very responsive to training. She currently knows basic commands and is extremely bright. Libby would be best suited in a home with an experienced owner who enjoys an active lifestyle that includes a dog companion. Libby is crate trained, but doesn't really need a crate. She is affectionate, attentive and well mannered. She will require a home with a fully fenced large backyard and no children in the home due to her activity level. She needs a home without cats. Libby is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
