My Story

Thank you for choosing to adopt or foster and aid in the rescue efforts of RARE! **Adoption Interest Form REQUIRED via our website Rarerescue.org** Introducing Liberty! ? Are you searching for a beautiful and spirited companion to add a touch of freedom and joy to your life? Look no further than Liberty, a stunning mixed breed dog who is ready to embark on a new adventure with her forever family. At around 1 year old and weighing a graceful 38 lbs, Liberty is the perfect size for cuddles and playtime. Liberty's playful nature shines brightly, and she thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs. However, it's important to note that Liberty has a more dominant play style. She would thrive with a submissive dog as a playmate or sibling who can complement her personality and engage in balanced play sessions. With the right canine companion by her side, Liberty will blossom into the best version of herself. While Liberty adores her four-legged friends, her love for people knows no bounds. She is a true social butterfly and finds immense comfort and happiness in human companionship. Liberty's affectionate nature and friendly demeanor make her an ideal addition to any loving home. Prepare to be showered with love and endless tail wags as Liberty becomes an integral part of your family. One thing that sets Liberty apart is her eagerness to learn and her food motivation. She is a smart cookie who thrives on mental stimulation and will eagerly participate in training sessions. In her foster home, she is already working on learning basic commands and is eager to please her humans. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, Liberty will continue to flourish, showing off her impressive skills and intelligence. Liberty possesses a medium to high energy level, making her an ideal companion for active individuals or families with older kids who enjoy outdoor adventures. She will gladly join you on hikes, runs, and long walks, always ready for a new exploration. Regular exercise will not only keep her physically fit but also contribute to her mental well-being and overall happiness. Are you ready to give Liberty the loving and forever home she deserves? If you have the time, patience, and willingness to provide her with the guidance and structure she needs, Liberty will reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. This remarkable girl is eagerly awaiting her chance to bring joy and happiness into your life. Don't miss the opportunity to adopt this shining star. We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason. All of our Adoptables are: Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions. PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption. Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property. ***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
