My Story

Please let us introduce Lil’ Girl! This stunning pup was surrendered to our rescue when her human became homeless and could no longer care for her. She is now receiving lots of TLC in her foster home while waiting for a place to hang her leash forever! Lil’ Girl is just under 1-1/2 years old and weighs in at 47 pounds....every ounce filled with sweetness! We believe her breed mix to be Catahoula/Pit Bull mix. What we know for sure about her is that she’s a chill, affectionate, happy-go-lucky girl who loves people. Her tail is always wagging and her favorite thing is to carry her toy around with her. For reasons that she can’t tell us, tall men seem to scare her a bit, though she does warms up when she knows she’s safe. She gets along great with the other dog in her foster home, but has not been observed around cats. Lil’ Girl is crate trained and house trained (learned to use a doggy door in about 5 minutes. She’s well behaved inside has never shown any destructive behavior. She still needs help with her leash walking skills but she’s a very smart girl who wants to please so her new family can work with her. Though there are no children in her foster home, considering her super sweet nature, we think this darling girl would be a great addition to a family with kids 8, or over. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. If you are looking for an easy-going beautiful pup who will add joy to your days, please email Nancy at [email protected] for an application and she’ll send one right out to you. Her adoption fee is $400. She is waiting to become YOUR Lil’ Girl!
