Lila

Hi, I'm Lila and I'm such a nice girl. I'm a little lover girl. I want to be with my person as much as possible. I love belly rubs and love humans of all sizes, ages and genders. I give lots of kisses. I enjoy hanging out with my foster mom and snuggling in bed together. I'm about 6 1/2 years old, which is a great age. I'm full grown and house trained. I've got plenty of energy and a long life ahead of me. But I'm not a crazy, hyper puppy! I'm pretty chill and like to nap a lot. I weigh about 45 lbs, which is a great size. I won't get any bigger unless I gain weight. I'm a true Heinz 57, which means that I'm mixed with a lot of breeds. My foster mom did a DNA test and I've got some Staffordshire terrier and some chow and some cattle dog. I even have 1% Pekingese in me!! I'm very cute with a black patch over my eye. I should have been named the Phantom of the Opera or Ying & Yang. People always say how cute I am and that my pictures don't do me justice. I'm a good walking companion. I am fully house-trained, microchipped, spayed and up to date on all my shots and preventatives. I live with a bunch of other dogs and I get along fine with most of them. There is an annoying shepherd in my foster home. She likes to harass me so I don't like her very much. Mostly, I just want to chill. I am dog selective initially. That means that initially I'm a little leary of new dogs and it may take me a little while to warm up to them. But if the dog doesn't bother me, we'll get along fine. Based on this, I would not be a good dog park girl. I would be a great companion for someone looking for a best friend to hang out with. I'm happy to go for a nice walk or 2 every day and to lay next to you while you work or just hang out. I'd love to snuggle up in bed. I'd love a laid back home with no other animals. I have a prey drive for small animals. So, I should not go to a home with cats or rabbits or other small animals. I'm an impressive hunter. I caught a rabbit in the yard once and brought it into the house for my foster mom. She was not nearly as happy about it as I thought she would be.
