Meet Lila!! She is a 14 wk old Black Lab Retriever weighing 25 lbs, so will be large dog or on the larger side of medium when full grown. Lila was found abandoned in a ditch along with her two siblings Larry & Lenny. (Also posted on our site) Lila is now living with one of our loving southern fosters. She is described as having a moderate activity level who loves to go for walks with her humans and stays very close by, even without a leash. Lila plays well with other dogs and appears to be submissive in general. Her ideal adopter would be a loving and caring family or person who she could spend a lot of time with and bond. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
